I'm excited to say that The Clovis Dig is published! The paperback is coming in just a few days, and the eBook is now available on Amazon, Apple, Barnes and Noble, Kobo, and more. This book has been a long time coming. It's inspired by a true archaeological dig in East Wenatchee, Washington, and I was fortunate to tour the project. I was instantly smitten. I began collecting newspaper and magazine articles, and started the first draft in the late 1990's. Life intervened, and I put the novel away in the proverbial drawer until years later, when I signed a three-book contract with Evolved Publishing. I grew to love the cast of characters in this book, and I still think of them often—tough orchardist Claire Courtney, rookie archaeologist Joe Running, sophisticated archaeologist Spencer Grant, orchard manager Carlos Barbosa, Colville tribal attorney Shawna Ross and her savvy grandfather, Sam Moses, a tribal leader. I enjoyed writing about them all. I hope you like it! And if you do, I invite you to rate it on Amazon, Goodreads, Bookbub, or wherever you share books with fellow readers.
